One of the most common topics we hear in educational design is "We would like to do some more innovative things, but we don't really have room". Like our own homes, space doesn't just create itself. If you are not going to put an addition on then you must rethink what is relevant and what is due for change. As the DAd of a soon-to-be-teenager, I can tell you that how our kids learn on the computer is not through lecture-based, static labs but through actual experience, trial and error and flexible situations that engage them.
