Benedictine Madonna Towers is a community campus center supporting the Benedictine Madonna Senior Living Communities in Rochester, Minnesota. The campus center creates a multi-purpose common room and communal space on the main floor of the independent living tower. Featuring large group areas, a bistro, wellness space, gift shop, and craft room, the renovations open up the previously rigid layout while promoting social interaction between residents.
Nearby, a freestanding memory care and assisted living environment called Benedict House supports the Madonna Towers program. Designed as a large house to blend in with the surrounding neighborhood, Benedict House uses a home scale and style to provide comfort to the residents. The small scale of the layout allows residents to see all of the surrounding activity as they leave their rooms while easing staffing efficiency and program sharing.
