After ongoing dialogue with the City of Farmington to understand its needs, Wold helped the City to develop options for a north municipal campus.
With assistance from Wold, the Farmington Citizens’ Committee made the recommendation to the Council concerning the need for a new City Hall with a city wide representation of citizens, and the project was approved for completion in 2008.
Wold was retained to design this new 36,000-square-foot facility while the solution fits into the character of the existing store front architecture and establishes a new focus for the south end of the main street. The building also modulates its massing and was designed to reflect the character of their downtown.
