Wold Architects and Engineers has a long history of helping the City of Hutchinson plan and implement projects that provide facilities for the citizens and community.
In 2018, we were authorized start the design of a new police station, which included determining the right location for the facility. In 2020, the City purchased the site for the new police station and our team completed the design for a $10.6 million, 37,000 sq. ft. police facility that includes modern amenities and best practices for police operations.
The lobby provide space for the community to meet with public safety staff in a safe and open environment, police staff have adequate space for patrol, investigations, administration and records along with properly sized locker rooms along wellness spaces to help officers deal with the stress of public safety response. A new enclosed garage is provided to protect the City’s investment in vehicles and technology.
