The Crisis and Recovery Center is a unique facility which fills a gap in the continuum of care for mental health currently available in Dakota County. It will provide both a 16 bed Intensive Residential Treatment Service for local residents either transitioning into or out of longer-term residential programs as well as providing a drop-in “Place to Go” for residents experiencing a mental health crisis. While there was some initial resistance to this facility, the community became overwhelmingly supportive of the services it offers once they learned more about them.
