Franklin Special School District (FSSD) started construction on a new 38,400-square-foot Central Office building that will serve as home to all Central Office staff. Alongside office spaces spanning two levels, it includes generous multi-functional spaces designed for school board meetings and larger professional learning opportunities.
The FSSD Central Office will feature an open-air courtyard and a 2,800-square-foot assembly space equipped with integrated audiovisual technology. Every workspace will have direct access to natural lighting to improve staff members’ physical and mental well-being. Other highlights include a fully equipped kitchen/cafeteria, loading and storage areas and a wellness area.
