As part of the referendum approved by voters in November 2019, White Bear Lake Area Schools is renovating many of their elementary schools to carry a vision of equity and personalized learning throughout the District.
Lincoln Elementary was one of the first projects to take place. It included a gymnasium addition and renovations of the media center and cafeteria. The gymnasium addition was designed to be a storm shelter. As part of the project, site parking and bus drop-off were expanded and reworked. The exteriors were designed to complement the existing building. At the conclusion of the project, this facility gained equitable gymnasium and cafeteria spaces and transformed the media center to meet the District’s personalized learning expectations.
This project was completed as part of an overall $325M dollar referendum.
