After two failed referenda, Luck Public Schools hired Wold to reevaluate and update their District-Wide Master Plan. Wold studied their maintenance needs, performed a capacity vs. enrollment analysis, studied educational adequacy, evaluated safety and security, and led a community engagement process.
A 30-person community group, facilitated by Wold, forwarded a master plan to the School Board for adoption. This master plan included the most pressing maintenance needs and key educational adequacy needs. After a community-wide survey, the final master plan was adopted by the school board and a successful referendum was passed in April of 2021. Wold implemented the master plan which includes a gymnasium/community safe room addition, updating and modernizing their learning environments as well as ADA upgrades and other miscellaneous maintenance items. Design was completed in January of 2022 and construction was completed in August 2023.
