Owl Creek Park is located in Brentwood, TN and encompasses a 22-acre tract of land adjacent to Owl Creek. Wold provided planning, architecture, and engineering services on this project.
To adequately meet the community's needs, Wold facilitated three community meetings during the master planning phase to gather input and present preliminary layouts. Wold guided the parks board through professional leadership, as the board received input from the neighborhood association, parks staff, and interested stakeholders. In response to these meetings, Owl Creek was successfully implemented into the park plan, with a pedestrian bridge providing linkage to a subdivision on the other side of the creek.
After the completion of the planning phase, Wold provided design and construction documents for the new passive park, consisting of a 750-square-foot building, site work, grading, seeding, a basketball court, concrete walks, pavement, asphalt paving, pre-engineered bridge, concrete masonry partitions, interior finishes, and associated mechanical and electrical work.
Located near our corporate office, Wold was able to oversee this project and meet the city’s quick turnaround.
