Wold Architect and Engineers has been working with Redwood County in assessing needs and updating facilities for almost 20 years.
The most recent project that we have helped study and implement is the replacement of their old courthouse. The new Justice Center was designed to replace the old courthouse and provides space improvements for the Judiciary with two new courtrooms flanking a new in-custody holding area that has a direct tunnel connection to the adjacent Jail/Law Enforcement Center. New public-facing offices were designed for Court Administration including a flexible meeting/jury assembly room, a new law library, and judges chambers in a shared environment that allows for visiting judges or magistrates.
New office space also includes the County Attorney and Court Security. The new entry also provides for security screening of the public as they enter the facility.
