Since 2014, St. Croix Central School District partnered with Wold to modernize its facilities and better serve students. In 2021, Wold led a community task force that identified the need to enhance the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to align with workforce demands and student opportunities. This effort led to the approval of a $30 million referendum to support the expansion.
This school year, the district opened its expanded CTE spaces, featuring a Manufacturing Skills Center that offers courses in industrial systems, mechatronics, and robotics. These programs provide students with hands-on learning opportunities and a pathway to earning a Mechatronics technical diploma. The project also introduced new career-focused spaces, including a culinary arts lab and store, automotive and small engines workshops, and dedicated areas for building trades, agriculture, food science, business, and fabric production.
