Wold worked with the University of Minnesota (UMN) to remodel the Waite Library in the Ruttan Building on the University’s St Paul Campus. The space was opened up into a single room specializing in agricultural periodicals and collections. Modern environments were established through Wold’s design of all furnishings in the space.
Features include multiple seating areas designed for group work, comfortable collaborative conversations or quiet study, a teaching/research module with large curved whiteboard 27” flat screen monitor, public computers that also serve as computer lab terminals, enabling UMN-affiliated users to connect to popular networked resources such as stata, a Cafe Corner for informal chats with colleagues, and mobile furnishings, including shelving, enabling swift and easy reconfiguration of the entire space for events.
