The Vanderbilt Institute of Chemical Biology is a trans-institutional collaboration between the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Medicine.
Wold was selected to master plan the project for a grant and then designed the renovation of almost 6,000 square feet of space – 4,200 square feet for the Chemical Synthesis Core and 1,500 square feet for the Robotic High Throughput Screening Core. The Chemical Synthesis Core is an open lab concept utilizing modular lab benches and base cabinets.
