The Worthington Learning Center is committed to supporting students in achieving their academic potential so they can become successful citizens.
The Worthington Learning Center offers programming for students in grades seventh to twelfth through various options to support every student’s individual needs. The program was previously housed in a former elementary school building, which did not adequately support the program’s growth or its educational initiatives; thus, a new facility was planned.
The new building is designed for 140 students and is co-located with the District’s gymnastics program. These programs share a commons to foster community gathering, student dining and collaboration, and the facility has an open, welcoming atmosphere while being safe and secure. The thirteen labs and classrooms surround a flexible learning area to promote individual, small and large group activities and enhance student choice.
